Is design set in stone?

We find the work of new designers so admirable! It always reflects the enthusiasm of a young soul and the refreshing energy of a new inspiration.

Particularly when it concerns students who are required to design under a price competition, the ideas produced may hide very pleasant surprises!

So, we were so happy to follow the design competition Is Design Set In Stone which was organized by P.Pnevmatikos Marble SA and Vakalo Art and Design College.

The students were required to design a furniture or a utility product using marble as the basic material. They were asked to follow specifications in regards with dimensions and materials.

Judging by the innovation of the idea, the quality of the design, the clarity of the proposal and the economical and manufacturing capability of constructing the design, the winners were announced on March of 2015.
